Boxing day

When we were young (at least i can speak for myself), we thought of boxing day literally 👊👊 and looked forward to punching people in fun.
The innocence of such thoughts amazes me still.
Boxing day, as i have learnt now, is a day to unwrap the presents we received on Christmas day. Its very funny what the world would do to invent such a holiday. As for me, i open as i receive... What am i waiting for. Well, some of that is attributed to the few gifts i receive.
This year's boxing day (2014) is one i would absolutely remember. You can imagine, in a country where there is always light, they seized the electricity for FOUR HOURS. I had low battery but no one cared. No food because i needed electricity to cook or warm the food i have. I felt helpless. Well,there is light now and i am elated and not as hungry.

Christmas

Christmas is here again.. At least in most parts of the world.

How did i spend mine?
Hmmm... Lemme c. I woke up that morning. Oh... Rewind a little.
On the eve of Christmas🎄, i went shopping (the one thing that makes me happy, aside from receiving gifts🎁). Did i mention that i had an exam the following day? Fast forward to the following morning.
Its Christmas🎄🎊 day. I woke up feeling great😀. I had my bath, and off i went to class. Finished my exam with positive results🎉🎶, came back to my room to do my next favorite thing... Food😍. I ordered pizza. Coming bk from collecting my order, i met someone i hadn't seen in ages, so off we went to his room to eat the pizza and catch up.
By evening, i went to a short carol service which was also great, as it entailed two of my favorite things for xmas- carols🎶🎵🎼 and food😀... Oh and exchange of gifts.
Back to my room, i called☎ my family👪 it felt wonderful hearing their voices. Then i watched two movies and went to bed😄... But not before i thanked Jesus for his love...
